Who we are
Hello, I'm Shaylene. In November 2024, I launched Flour & Rise bakery. My early experiences in the kitchen were shaped by my mother and grandmother in an old farmhouse. I can vividly recall the sight of chocolate pies and dinner rolls emerging from my grandmother's pastel pink kitchen. Baking serves as a form of therapy for me, evoking cherished childhood memories. I take great pleasure in unearthing traditional recipes from my past while also experimenting with new creations. With encouragement from friends, I decided to embark on the journey of selling my baked goods, transforming a passion into a dream and now into reality.
